Partnership between LetterGen and BlueMailCentral

LetterWriter a new module for the LetterGen Suite

The LetterWriter is a business oriented document composition tool for end-users. The LetterWriter allows the business analysts to define text fragments that will be used by the end users for building dynamic company documents with predefined content. The end-users can create documents by combining the selected text fragments with own content.

Definition of fragments

The business analyst defines the text fragments in LetterSketch. These fragments with variables and business logic are linked to the company templates using a new plug in for LetterSketch. For each fragment assigned to a template the analyst can decide, whether it will be modifiable, mandatory or mutually exclusive with another fragment and all this linked to a specific security role.

Document composition

In the LetterWriter, a plug-in for Microsoft Word, the end user selects the fragments by double clicking them in the fragment panel. A pop-up window will appear if the user needs to enter additional data for the variables in the selected fragment. He can modify the fragment when it is defined as modifiable and when he has the necessary user rights. The Letter Writer application is designed as Microsoft Word add-in, supporting full Microsoft Word functionalities and a WYSIWYG interface.
